From Times Wire Reports
The lawyer for runaway bride Jennifer Wilbanks is in discussions with the city of Duluth on how to reimburse the town for the thousands of dollars spent searching for her when she bolted days before her wedding.
“While I am not certain Jennifer has a legal obligation to reimburse the city, she wants to do something to make amends,” attorney Lydia Sartain said in a statement.
Mayor Shirley Lasseter has estimated that the search cost between $43,000 to $60,000, but said Wilbanks’ reimbursement options were negotiable.
