God Doesn’t Pick Sides

The ribbons that I note in increasing numbers on automobiles, cajoling God to bless America, puzzle me. I would think that the devoted minions that proudly display this symbol would want God to bless all mankind. The statement, as it stands, implies that God bless America, and the devil take the hindmost. I rather think that if God exists, he/she is not busy editing who he/she is blessing.
