New Zealand: great mussels
Amadeus Cafe & Patisserie, 284 Trafalgar St., Nelson; 011-64-3-545-7191. “We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at this small and inviting restaurant in Nelson’s town center. The New Zealand green-lipped mussels were out of this world. The people are warm, friendly and helpful, so the service was great. Dinners $12-$25.
