Women Admit Role in Birthday Kiss Beating

Three women pleaded guilty in Baltimore for their roles in the beating of a 12-year-old girl at a birthday party -- an attack prompted by a kiss on the cheek she received from a boy.
Police said Monique Baldwin, 37, apparently became offended because the boy was supposed to be her daughter’s boyfriend. She allegedly urged the other attackers: “Handle your business.â€
Nicole Townes went into a three-week coma after she was beaten and kicked. Her 11-year-old sister was also beaten.
