Carol Scott, 56; Television Producer Won 4 Daytime Emmys
Carol Scott, 56, a television producer and director who won four Daytime Emmys for her work on “General Hospital,†died of cancer Friday in Los Angeles, according to her mother. She was 56.
She worked as an associate director on the television shows “Day by Day,†“Champs,†“Night Court†and “The Stockard Channing Show.†She also worked on the sitcoms “All in the Family†and “True Colors.â€
Scott, whose real name was Carol Caramadre, began working on “General Hospital†in 1993, serving as a camera director, line producer, co-producer, editorial supervisor and producer.
