Body of Snowshoer Found 5 Months Later

The body of a snowshoer who disappeared on a family outing nearly five months ago in Mesa County was recovered by a search crew after being spotted from a helicopter, authorities said in Grand Junction.
Daniel Walker, 54, his wife and daughter were on an outing on the 10,500-foot Grand Mesa in western Colorado. The three got lost when the wind covered their tracks.
Walker left the women in an attempt to find help. The wife and daughter were rescued after two days but he had vanished.
