Less Than High Regard for United’s Chief
Regarding “A Tenacious CEO Keeps United Flying†(July 24):
Glenn Tilton’s colleagues say the employees have a “grudging respect†for him?
Ask the employees themselves, and you might find something like no respect, grudging or otherwise.
If I were Mr. Tilton, I would take the $4.5 million that United agreed to pay him and high-tail it to his ranch in New Mexico before he discovers what the rest of us employees already know: United doesn’t honor promises made to its employees.
