Pondexter Powers Rutgers
Cappie Pondexter scored 22 of her season-high 27 points in the second half to lift No. 8 Rutgers to a 71-60 Big East Conference win over No. 14 Boston College on Wednesday night at Boston.
Rutgers, which improved to 14-4 overall and 5-1 in the conference, has won four games against ranked teams this season.
Clare Droesch and Jessalyn Deveny led the Eagles (14-3, 5-1) with 18 points apiece.
