Fire Unit Probe in Riverside Co.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating conflict-of-interest allegations against former and current county Fire Department employees, authorities said Wednesday.
The investigation was requested by Fire Chief Craig Anthony.
Investigators have gathered business records from former and current department members, and from vendors who did business with the department.
Search warrants were served Wednesday in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
