7 Humans Dead of Bird Flu; Epidemic Feared

Vietnam confirmed the seventh human death from bird flu in three weeks, and the World Health Organization is worried infection could spread rapidly with the start of the Feb. 9 Lunar New Year holiday.
Chicken is the centerpiece of Vietnamese meals during the festivities known as Tet. About 330,000 birds have died or been slaughtered this year in Vietnam because of the virus.
