Perhaps the Eldorado Will Get Better Mileage
Lest we all get too excited about the flurry of off-season Dodger acquisitions, remember Paul DePodesta did the same thing -- stocking the roster with aging veterans with productive careers -- only to have the injury bug wreck the season. The 2006 version of the Dodgers reminds me of a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado convertible: Looks good sitting there all shiny, but driving it is another thing.
