A man believed to be in his early 20s was killed Friday when his car was struck by another vehicle whose driver had lost control.
Police did not release the victim’s name.
The accident occurred about 7 p.m. on Memory Lane near Bristol Street, police said, when a Toyota Camry traveling west veered to the right, bounced off a curb and went diagonally across the center median into oncoming traffic, striking a Mustang.
The Mustang’s driver was dead at the scene. It did not appear that drugs or alcohol were involved, police said, and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
