Inhuman acts of war
Re “Servants -- and Weapons --
of War,” Aug. 10
Iraqi insurgents are using dogs to carry bombs to attack U.S. troops. I can’t think of anything so cruel as to use unwitting animals for human-caused destruction of another human being (as well as the dog). Does this mean that the terrorists are having trouble finding human volunteers to fight and die for their cause? If that is true, then the insurgents have no moral justification to continue.
