Council OKs 2 Public Works Board Members

After little discussion, the City Council on Wednesday approved the appointments of Dave Sickler and Paula A. Daniels to the Board of Public Works by votes of 12 to 0.
Sickler was the founder and chief executive of the California Immigrant Workers Assn. Daniels is a senior research fellow at the UCLA Institute of the Environment and a board member of Heal the Bay.
