Disrespect to Jennings
Michael Ramirez’s editorial cartoon of Aug. 9 was a low blow to the memory of ABC anchor Peter Jennings. Most deaths in the U.S. have at least something to do with poor life choices, whether they involve cigarettes, alcohol or sugar. That people accomplish things despite these human failings is still impressive.
Thanks, Mike, for telling me that smoking may be fatal. I live in a cave and needed to learn that from The Times.
