MTA Bus Hits and Kills 88-Year-Old Woman

An MTA bus ran over and killed an 88-year-old woman Wednesday north of downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
Quing Zhu Ying, who lived in a nearby senior citizens residence, died about 4 p.m. at Cesar Chavez and Grand avenues, Los Angeles Police Officer Jason Lee said.
