Autopsies on Woman, Mom Yield No Cause

Autopsies performed Tuesday on two women whose bodies were discovered in their Mission Viejo home failed to reveal the cause of death of the mother or her daughter, authorities said.
The women were identified as Patricia Anderson, 51, and Tricia Anderson, 26.
Their bodies were discovered in the 24800 block of Tabuenca about 3:30 p.m. Monday by Patricia Anderson’s husband of 31 years, Terry, 51, when he came home from work, said Jim Amormino, spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Among several possibilities, authorities said, was that the women may have died as a result of an overdose of prescription drugs. Coroner’s officials said they were conducting toxicology tests, which will take about six weeks to complete.
Amormino said there were no signs of trauma or foul play and that no suicide note was found.
