Flu-Shot Ferry to Run Fewer People to Canada

A cruise operator ferrying U.S. residents from Seattle to Canada for flu shots said it would restrict the trip to 150 shot-seeking passengers a day because of overwhelming demand and concerns about diminishing supplies north of the border.
Seattle cruise operator Victoria Clipper has been offering one-day round-trip boat rides to Victoria, 75 miles north of Seattle, at $105 for both the trip and a dose of flu vaccine. The line has carried 3,800 people to Canada for flu shots in the last eight days.
