Where Have You Been Lately?

We went to Indian Wells over Valentine’s Day weekend. We stayed at a friend’s house. When I was governor, we’d go over Thanksgiving and Easter. It’s unusual that we go this time of year. But there’s a saying that when life gives you a break, you should take it. We like to take walks in the early morning or at sunset. The mountains are just spectacular. We played golf on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday night, we went to a big Valentine’s party. I didn’t think about a single thing, except why the white ball wasn’t doing what it was supposed to do.

Discovery: Not far from where we stay is the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert. People come from all around the state to visit.
