Jalalabad, Afghanistan Is OKd as Sister City

Jalalabad, Afghanistan, is San Diego’s newest sister city.
The San Diego City Council unanimously approved the diplomatic relationship Monday with the city in eastern Afghanistan.
San Diego now has 15 sister city partners, nine of them in the Pacific Rim.
