Anaheim Officer Hurt in Collision

Two Anaheim police cars collided Tuesday on their way to a traffic accident, leaving one officer hospitalized with a head injury, authorities said.
The officers were en route to an accident on Broadway and Gilbert Street, with their lights and sirens on, when they collided at the intersection of Gilbert and Lincoln Avenue, Sgt. Rick Martinez said.
The injured officer, who has worked with Anaheim police for 15 years, was reported to be in stable condition.
