“The Last Five Years”: Jason Robert Brown’s musical tells the story of a failed marriage from both interwoven points of view but in different chronological sequence. The husband lives it forward, and the wife backward, starting at the bitter end and finishing at the hopeful beginning. In a special closing-weekend touch, the composer and his backing duo, billed as Jason Robert Brown and the Caucasian Rhythm Kings, will play a separate-admission late concert after Saturday evening’s show, drawing from “The Last Five Years” and other musicals and pop and cabaret tunes Brown has written.
