School Band Teacher Held in Teen-Sex Case

Benjamin Lee Brown, 32, a band teacher at Etiwanda Intermediate School in Rancho Cucamonga, was arrested late Tuesday on suspicion of engaging in sexual activities with one of his former students, a 14-year-old girl.
Rancho Cucamonga police suspect that the encounters took place between October and December, after the girl had begun high school, said Sandy Fatland. Brown, whose bail was set at $75,000, is being held in the San Bernardino County Jail.
