Construction Worker Falls to His Death

A construction worker died Monday morning after falling 15 feet when scaffolding gave way on a commercial building, fire officials said.
The accident happened at 10:20 a.m. in the 1300 block of East 17th Street, near Grand Avenue, when Alejandro Rosales, 44, leaned back against scaffolding and fell from the second floor, said Santa Ana Fire Chief Donald Mahany.
Rosales, who lived in Westminster, died at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, Mahany said.
