Finding New Approach to Support Girl Scouts
- Share via
“Sugar-Coated Business Lessons? Not This Year” (Jan. 28) caught my attention.
I have supported the Girl Scouts for many years by purchasing their cookies. While I applaud that organization for staying away from the grocery store strike lines, I would hate to see the Girl Scouts’ cookie sales suffer.
So though I usually order my cookies through neighbors’ or co-workers’ children, I will now also buy cookies wherever the Scouts sell them.
And because I’m trying to lose weight, I’m going to take all those cookies over to the striking grocery store workers to give to their children.
That way, I can support the Girl Scouts, support the grocery workers and support my New Year’s resolution.
