Russian Man Found Shot Dead in Cancun

A 31-year-old Russian man was shot to death at a luxury apartment in Cancun, recently besieged by drug-related violence, police reported.
Found inside the Isla Dorada apartment complex with a single gunshot wound to the head, the Russian carried false documents identifying him as a Mexican, Quintana Roo state police officials said.
State police Deputy Director Luis German Sanchez said investigators had not ruled out drug trafficking as a factor.
