Oneida Ltd. Completes Encore Sale
Oneida Ltd., the dinnerware and glassware company, said Monday that it had completed the sale of its Encore subsidiary to a California company.
Oneida announced in July that it was selling Encore, which markets tabletop products and related home accessories to the supermarket industry, to Bradshaw International Inc., which markets the Good Cook brand of kitchenware.
The terms of the sale were not disclosed.
As part of the deal, Encore will continue to offer Oneida-brand products to supermarkets under a licensing agreement with Bradshaw, which is based in Rancho Cucamonga.
Encore will operate as a free-standing division of Bradshaw, maintaining its headquarters in Malta, N.Y., with additional showroom facilities in Rancho Cucamonga.
Oneida, based in Oneida, N.Y., is a leading source of flatware, dinnerware, crystal, glassware and metal serve ware for both the consumer and food-service industries worldwide.
