* Travis Erickson, Thousand Oaks: Didn’t give up an earned run in six innings and teammates Zach Ginther, Chris Hannick, Eric Guillen and Matt Lorenz each hit a home run for the No. 13-ranked Lancers in a 12-6 Marmonte League victory over No. 20 Agoura.

* Dylan Gaughen, Simi Valley: Had three home runs and seven runs batted in in a 16-14 Marmonte League victory over Westlake Village Westlake.

* Mike Sandoval, Placentia El Dorado: Had three hits, including a two-run single in the top of the eighth inning, in a 7-5 Century League upset of No. 6 Anaheim Canyon.

* Lazaro Fonta, Rosemead: Singled in the tying run in the bottom of the seventh and singled in the winning run in the 10th in a 6-5 Mission Valley League victory over El Monte.

SOFTBALL

* Taryne Mowatt and Tiffany Wright, Corona Santiago: Mowatt pitched a three-hitter with five strikeouts and Wright drove in Stephanie Pelton for the No. 1 Sharks in a 1-0 Mountain View League victory over No. 4 Corona.

* Rachel Folden, Diamond Bar: Hit a grand slam in the third inning for the No. 10 Brahmas in a 4-1 Sierra League victory over Chino Hills.

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL

* Trey Valbuena and Brandon McLaughlin, Huntington Beach: Valbuena had 20 kills and McLaughlin had 18 in a 26-24, 25-21, 22-25, 20-25, 17-15 Sunset League victory over Fountain Valley to force a tie atop the league standings at 5-1.
