New play deadline
The FirstStage theater company has extended its deadline to Friday for submissions of 10- to 15-minute original plays and skits to be performed in its 18th annual “Playwrights Express†marathon that opens today and runs through May 9.
Performances will be from 1 to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays at the theater at 6817 Franklin Ave., Los Angeles. Plays should be sent to FirstStage, Playwrights Express, P.O. Box 38280, Los Angeles, CA 90038.
