Man Found Dead in His Parked Van

A 22-year-old man was found dead in his parked van Saturday night, the victim of a gunshot wound to his chest, police said.
The man, Paulino Ortiz, was found on the 1300 block of East 59th Street, an unincorporated area, about 10:30 p.m. after a resident contacted authorities, police said.
Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide. Anyone with any information is asked to call detectives at (323) 890-5500.
