Storms and Flooding Spread Across East

Flooding and mudslides blocked roads in several West Virginia counties as storms swept northward across the East, and schools in more than a dozen counties closed early.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for parts of North Carolina as storms moved across the upper Ohio Valley, central Appalachians and along the East Coast.
