A 28-year-old man charged in a dozen sniper-like incidents in Ohio pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Charles McCoy Jr., 28, entered the pleas in Franklin County Common Pleas Court following his indictment on charges of murder, attempted murder, felonious assault, vandalism and shooting in a school zone.
One of his lawyers indicated he was exploring medical records relating to McCoy’s mental condition.
McCoy could face the death penalty if convicted of killing Gail Knisley, 62, a passenger in a car on Interstate 270 near Columbus when she was shot in November.
