Want to hit the water? Call first
Diamond Valley Lake has plenty of elbowroom, but not everyone who shows up will hit the water. For starters, vessels have to pass a strict test to protect water quality. And, second, you need a reservation.
There are only 250 parking spaces for vehicles with trailers and 100 for solo vehicles. Boaters and shore fishermen also need reservations. And you must have a valid sport-fishing license. Standard bag and size limits apply.
Reservations should be made at least 72 hours in advance -- call (800) 590-5253 or go to www.dvlake.com.
There’s a $7 entry fee per vehicle, a $6 boat-launch fee and a $3 fishing-access fee (per person).
