Man, 35, Fatally Shot by In-Law, Police Say

A man was fatally wounded Sunday by a relative, authorities said. Ruiz Servando, 35, was shot in the head about 2:20 a.m. in the 1200 block of Edgemont Street, a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman said.
Servando was arguing with his brother-in-law, Oscar Lemus, when Servando was shot once with a semiautomatic handgun, police said. Lemus fled the scene in his vehicle.
