Alyson Jennings, Newport Harbor: Had 40 assists, seven digs and three service aces to lead the Sailors, ranked No. 7 by The Times, to a 25-22, 12-25, 25-21, 25-21 Sea View League victory over Santa Ana Foothill.

Brittany Esser, Flintridge Sacred Heart: Had 51 assists and 23 digs in a 21-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-12 nonleague victory over L.A. Marlborough.

Laura Ball, Huntington Beach: Had 16 kills in a 25-16, 19-25, 26-24, 25-15 nonleague victory over Santa Barbara San Marcos.

BOYS’ WATER POLO

Conor Smith, Rolling Hills Estates Peninsula: Rebounded a shot and scored from four yards with 51 seconds left to play for a 12-11 nonleague victory over Malibu.

Stevie Homeyer, El Segundo: Had three goals in an 8-6 nonleague win over Crescenta Valley.

Angel Martinez, L.A. Cathedral: Had seven goals in a 21-2 Montview League victory over City of Industry Workman.

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Cheyenne Reveche, Ali Krasnopolsky and Daron Moore, North Hollywood Campbell Hall: Each won three sets for No. 2 Vikings in a 16-2 Olympic League victory over No. 10 Brentwood.

Fernanda Zapata, Ojai Villanova Prep: Swept her sets, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, in a 12-6 nonleague victory over Westlake Village Oaks Christian.
