Raids Net 11 Suspects in Cocaine Operation

Police arrested 11 Colombians in dawn raids around London as part of an operation to “rip the heart out” of what officers called the biggest cocaine cartel ever to operate in Britain.
Police said they had recovered more than half a ton of cocaine, with a street value of $94.3 million, and five tons of cannabis during the last three years of the operation. But that amount of cocaine is only a fraction of what might be entering Britain and reaching its streets.
