It’s That Very Berry Time of Year in Oxnard

The 20th annual California Strawberry Festival will be held next weekend at Oxnard’s College Park.
Musical performers include Juice Newton, Beatlemania and the Sounds of the Supremes. Strawberryland for Kids will feature puppet shows, comedy, juggling and magic acts.
Admission is $9 general and $5 for children 5 to 12, those 55 or older and active military personnel with ID. Children under 4 are admitted free.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. next Sunday. College Park is at 3250 S. Rose Ave. For more information, call 385-4739 or view the Web site at www.strawberry-fest.org.
