Jacob Luque, Huntington Beach Marina: Hit a two-run home run in the first inning and finished with three hits and three RBIs for the No. 8 Vikings in a 5-4 Sunset League victory over No. 12 Los Alamitos.
Cody Cipriano, Westlake Village Westlake: Had three home runs and finished with seven RBIs in a 9-6 Marmonte League victory over Calabasas.
Michael Costales, Quartz Hill: Had a three-run home run and a run-scoring triple for the No. 24 Rebels in a 14-7 Golden League victory over Palmdale.
Mike Flickinger and David Fonseca, Thousand Oaks: Flickinger hit a three-run home run and David Fonseca had three hits and three RBIs for the No. 25 Lancers in a 7-1 Marmonte League victory over Simi Valley Royal.
Blake Crosby, Westminster La Quinta: Had four hits and eight RBIs in a 13-0 Garden Grove League victory over Garden Grove Bolsa Grande. Ian Stewart, who scored four times, hit his 14th home run of the season.
Trevor Ploufe, Encino Crespi: Had three home runs and a single, but Alemany scored six runs in the sixth inning to win the Mission League game, 10-4.
Brian Carmona and Scott Patynik, Whittier: Carmona tied the score with a run-scoring double in the sixth inning and Patynik won it with an RBI double in the seventh in a 3-2 Del Rio League win over Pico Rivera El Rancho.
Jeremy DeVore, Alhambra: Drove in the final two runs with a two-out double in the top of the seventh inning in a 4-2 Almont League victory over San Gabriel.

Danielle Quimby and Stephanie Churchwell, Lake Forest El Toro: Each had a home run in a 2-0 South Coast League victory over San Clemente.
Brittany Huerta, Atascadero: Tripled and scored on a wild pitch in the first inning in a 1-0 victory over Santa Maria Righetti in a Pac-5 League game.
LaDawn Montgomery, Simi Valley Grace Brethren: Had a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning in a 3-2 Delphic League victory over North Hollywood Campbell Hall.
BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL
Jamie Diefenbach, Newport Harbor: Had 24 kills and six blocks in a 9-15, 15-8, 15-11, 15-9 nonleague victory over Corona del Mar.
GIRLS’ TRACK AND FIELD
Dana Point Dana Hills: Won the South Coast League finals, 138-135, over Mission Viejo to break the Diablos’ 20-year winning streak.
