Mayoral Candidate’s Office Is Burglarized

Three laptop computers containing confidential campaign data were stolen this week from the downtown offices of one of the city’s leading mayoral candidates, police and campaign officials said Friday.
The laptops were on separate floors and were the only items taken during the break-in at the law office of Angela Alioto, said her campaign director, Larry Tramutola.
Tramutola said it was unclear whether Alioto has been the victim of a routine fencing operation or “who knows what.”
