PCP User Is Convicted in Fatal 2002 Car Crash

A La Habra man with a history of driving under the influence of drugs was sentenced Friday to 35 years to life in prison for crashing a car while high on drugs, killing a motorist and injuring a passenger, officials said.
Ledell Daniel, 35, was convicted of second-degree murder and driving under the influence of PCP in a 2002 crash at Orangethorpe Avenue and Lemon Street. He also was convicted in 1992 of vehicular manslaughter while on the same drug.
