Dead Farmer Is Linked to Poisonings at Church
From Wire Service Reports
Investigators have information linking a farmer who died of a gunshot wound to the arsenic poisonings at a church lunch in Caribou that killed one person and sickened more than a dozen, authorities said.
The shooting of Daniel Bondeson, 53, was thought to be self-inflicted, but investigators are awaiting autopsy results.
Bondeson was a member of Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church in New Sweden, where arsenic-laced coffee was served at a church reception on April 27. Two of the victims were still in critical condition.
