Re: “The Plan Was Faultless...” (May 25): I saw “The Producers” last week at the Pantages and it is wonderful theater. Nonetheless, Mel Brooks’ commentary is an unabashed promotion of his production and has no journalistic significance. I hope you charged him for the advertisement at more than the usual rates, since this masqueraded as a real article on the front page of Sunday’s Calendar section.
