Louisiana to Open Film Office in Los Angeles

In an effort to attract more movie productions, Louisiana is forming a Los Angeles-based film finance company in a venture with producer and distributor Samy Boy/HSI Entertainment.
The new company, LA2, plans to fund $50 million for modestly budgeted films shot in Louisiana. The company is being formed with the Louisiana Economic Development Corp.
