U.S. Nurse Freed From Aceh Prison

An American nurse was released from prison in the Indonesian province of Aceh after four months in detention for visa violations. Joy Lee Sadler, 57, of Waterloo, Iowa, had been held in the provincial capital, Banda Aceh. She was found guilty of violating her tourist visa by contacting guerrillas and was sentenced to four months in prison.
Her companion, Scottish-born academic Lesley Jane McCulloch, was sentenced to five months. Both insist that they are innocent.
