Davis Joins Card-Room Owners Fighting Casino

Gov. Gray Davis filed papers in support of card-room owners who want to stop the conversion of Casino San Pablo to a Contra Costa County gaming hall with slot machines.
Davis submitted a brief Friday that argued against the Interior Department allowing the Lytton Band of Pomo Indians to acquire the casino, which now operates as a card club.
