Oxnard police have identified a suspect in the Jan. 18 slaying of a 37-year-old Oxnard man that began as a dispute over a parking space.
Raymundo Sanchez Celis, 23, of Oxnard is wanted in connection with the death of Miguel Solis, police said Tuesday.
The slaying occurred in the 900 block of Richmond Avenue after a confrontation over a parking space between Sanchez Celis and the victim’s brother.
Solis drove into the parking lot and broke up the fight, officials said.
The attacker walked to his car, got a gun and shot Solis once at close range in front of the victim’s 7- and 10-year-old daughters, authorities said. Solis was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on Sanchez Celis’ whereabouts to call 385-7688.
