Nebraska receiver Grant Mulkey was arrested and charged with marijuana possession after the Cornhuskers’ 17-3 victory over Michigan State in the Alamo Bowl on Monday.

Mulkey, a freshman who did not play in the game, also was charged with resisting arrest and evading arrest, San Antonio police spokeswoman Sandy Gutierrez said.

Gutierrez said Mulkey was arrested after officers were called to a disturbance involving a group of men and several women in the Riverwalk tourist district early Tuesday morning.
