2 Brothers Killed During Backyard Party

Two brothers were shot to death at a party in Lynwood, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported Sunday.
The victims, Ernesto Avila, 34, and Jesus Avila, 31, both of Palmdale, were found by after deputies were sent to the 11000 block of Virginia Avenue about 12:45 a.m., authorities said.
“Basically there was a party in the backyard and the two victims, both of them gang members, were shot multiple times,” said Det. Todd Anderson.
The Avila brothers were from Lynwood, but lived in Palmdale.
