Assemblyman Won’t Run for Reelection

Just months after a second run-in with police over allegations of soliciting prostitution, Republican Assemblyman Steve Samuelian said that he would not run for reelection next year.
Observers said the young politician’s popularity had been waning after he was caught twice by police in an area of Fresno frequented by prostitutes.
