Laguna Beach Man Sentenced for Fraud

A Laguna Beach man was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison Tuesday for swindling small businesses in a financing scheme, officials said.
Richard Allen La Bianco, 34, pleaded guilty July 14 to mail fraud and other charges.
Bianco, who owned Paramount Pacific Funding Group, charged businesses deposits of up to $40,000 to secure low-interest equipment lease financing that he never obtained.
